UNDERSTANDING PRICING
What does a labor hour mean?
Understand hourly housekeeping before you book.
One person. One hour of work.
A labor hour measures work performed by one cleaner for one hour. It is different from the amount of time a team spends at your property.
Two cleaners add up together.
If two cleaners work for one hour, that is two labor hours. At $55 per labor hour, the cost is $110. If those two cleaners work for two hours, the total is four labor hours, or $220.
Start with a priority list.
A time budget is useful when you want help with specific tasks. Put the most important work first and agree on the labor budget before the visit.
Time-based work has a scope tradeoff.
The amount completed depends on the condition of the space and the tasks involved. If you want a defined room-by-room service, a standard, deep or moving-clean quote may be a better fit.
